My favorite summer blushes

When I think about summer , I think about sun and peaches, oh , and apricots as they are my favorite fruits in the summer. Besides loving it as fruits , I just love peachy shades on a tan skin , especially mixed up with golden shades.

It’s just perfect!

Here are my favorite three that give me the look I want in the summer.

  1. Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten Golden Apricot – This is my oldest acquisition, I use it a lot and I still have a lot. It;s really pretty! IMG_1158
  2. MAC – Telling Glow , Extra dimension blush.  My newest acquisition. This is from their new collection of blushes. All the shades are so pretty but this one is a good one for my skin tone. Has a nice shimmer so you don’t have to use highlighter.

3. L’Oreal Color Lift Blush, Peach Gold. This one has a creamy texture , it gives you a more natural look so it looks nice even without foundation. It illuminates your cheekbones, so you will have that natural glow look. Very nice blush but L’Oreal never disappoints when it comes to their products . I am very satisfied with this blush and this brand.

Now all I need is a trip to the sea side to get this blushes popping! 😀

Bright green summer makeup paired with bright lips

Hello, Hello and finally Hello!

Here I am writing a post about makeup which I haven’t done in such long time. The mother job and working to put my Zumba class together again didn’t leave me with too much time to spear.

I love bright colors and if you love them as well then you will probably like this post.

I’ll post the pictures and then explain. I am posting as well the exact colors I used for this look so you will know where to find it. 🙂

The green, the light brown and the shimmery white eye shadows are from Sleek’s I Divine collection palette , Snapshot. I love their makeup palettes , they are pigmented and long-lasting, blend well and the price is great. This Snapshot palette has many nice bright colors perfect for this season.  I used this bright green eye pencil from Essence to contour the lower line of my eyes.  The lavender eye shadow is from Lorac Mega Pro 2 palette which I adore. Lovely shades in this palette. 🙂

The eyeliner I used is the one from Revlon, Color Stay Skinny – Black Out and as you will see in the picture bellow the Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick from NYX in Pink Lust makes this look a happy combination. This lip cream is very pigmented and long wearing.

Here is a photo of the complete look. If you think something’s missing it’s because I generally do not fill in my eyebrows or contour them. I rarely do it. 😛

Hope you enjoyed this look as well as the short reviews of the products I used. 🙂

Daring eyes, daring lips using Revlon and NYX

Hello, hello ! 🙂

This article is about how to make your makeup look original  and cool although in a very simple way.

A little bit of glitter on your liner can look very glam  and  gold is such  a great color for  summer.  One products that has them both is Revlon Photo Ready Eye Art in Gold Glitz.  I really like it and it’s multi functional and wear and waterproof. The glittery black liner is more glitter than black pigment though so I advice you to use it on top of your usual eyeliner.

Extra tip : You can use the gold eye shadow as a lipstick as well but you must coat it with some lip gloss as it dries fast. 😉

To complete this look , I used on my lips Soft Matte Lip Cream from NYX  in Havana. This is the first lip product I am trying from NYX. It is nice but not too pigmented so you have to apply several coats until you get the desired intensity.  For a touch of gold I applied a bit of the Revlon gold eye shadow in the middle of my lips and just tapped slowly with my finger to blend it nicely. 😉

Here is the full face final result. 🙂

If you guys like this look , you only need these two products to make it. 🙂

Quick and easy summer eye makeup

Hey, hey, after a long break I’m back! 🙂

I had a long summer vacation and many things to do but I felt lazy as well. Actually I am feeling lazy while I am writing this post but not lazy enough not to write.

This post comes with two makeup ideas for the summer. Nothing too fancy but simple and fun and with pops of color. I love colors and summer is just the right season for it. I opt for colorful eyeliner as it is the easiest way to add some color to your makeup without being too much. We don’t want to look like clowns after all. 😉

Ok, words can’t actually describe a picture more than the picture itself so let me show you than explain you.

1. Smooth turquoise.

In my opinion , light blue and turquoise works best with golden shades.

I used only 2 makeup tools for this look (I exclude the mascara as we all know is a must almost all the time  to complete an eye makeup) .

IMG_3219

1. Eye shadow – L’Oreal Infallible Amber Rush which I applied on my eyelid with my finger as it makes the application smoother and easier and as well under my eye with a pencil brush.

2. Eyeliner – L’Oreal Silkissime , True Teal – I traced the eyelid , then I smooth it out with an eyeliner brush and I applied this eyeliner on my water line as well.  This is a waterproof eyeliner and it stays all day.

2. Purple Fantasy

I love how purple goes with green so I used this two together for a fresh summer make up.

In three steps you can get this really simple look.

IMG_3218

1. Eye shadow- L’Oreal Infallible , Burst into Bloom. – Apply with finger or brush on the eye lid.

2. Contour the eye (bottom as well) with a green eyeliner , I used one from Essence- Kajal Pencil-Scream Green.

3. Apply a purple eyeliner in the waterline. I used L’Oreal Infallible , Silkissime – Pure Purple.

For both of the looks don’t forget about mascara and you are good to go! 😉
