The money you have to spend to discover the perfect products

Hello and Happy Easter for those of you who celebrate today or who celebrate Easter in general! ๐Ÿ™‚

I am writing this article because I finally reached that point where I can say I can stick with certain products after spending so much money on so many things I discovered I didn’t like or just didn’t work for me.

I was getting so frustrated when I would buy something , get really excited for it and then didn’t reached my level of expectations. I would have it for a while in my drawers just taking space and reminding me on money thrown away.

I feel that this year I want to focus on finding the right products that I can stick with for a long time and don’t waste my money on products I will never use. I bet this happened to many of you. I will share with you some of the products I already settled with and found that they are between the best out there on the market. Remember that sometimes is only about the brand and you will find awesome products that don’t cost that much.

Here comes my list! ๐Ÿ™‚

Foundation :

-Infallible from L’Oreal – mate look and super persistent.Nice coverage. Always got compliments on it and super price.

-Clinique- Even Better – I got a sample of this and indeed in gives you a perfect skin complexion. It’s very nice and good with your skin.

Makeup remover :

  • Take the day off from Clinique is awesome. You can erase heavy eye makeup very fast.
  • POND’S makeup remover wipes – work awesome when it comes to lifting up makeup.

Lipstick :

  • Infallible from L’Oreal – I will buy all the colors. It stays put on the lips, good price, nice colors and no hustle. Kiss, eat, drink , the lipstick still there.

Shampoo :

  • Paul Mitchel – Awapuhi Rich Shampoo and The Detangler Conditioner – perfect for me and I’m using it for a while.

Moisturizer :

  • Moisture surge and Dramatically Different from Clinique.

Body Moisturizer :

  • Wet Skin Moisturizer from Jergens.

This is my list for products I settled for finally. When it comes to blush and eye shadow is hard to settle because I love the different textures and colors. But the products in the list above I found it as the best and also good price. ๐Ÿ™‚

Did you settled for one product in particular or thinking about it? ๐Ÿ™‚

Quick and easy summer eye makeup

Hey, hey, after a long break I’m back! ๐Ÿ™‚

I had a long summer vacation and many things to do but I felt lazy as well. Actually I am feeling lazy while I am writing this post but not lazy enough not to write.

This post comes with two makeup ideas for the summer. Nothing too fancy but simple and fun and with pops of color. I love colors and summer is just the right season for it. I opt for colorful eyeliner as it is the easiest way to add some color to your makeup without being too much. We don’t want to look like clowns after all. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ok, words can’t actually describe a picture more than the picture itself so let me show you than explain you.

1. Smooth turquoise. ย

In my opinion , light blue and turquoise works best with golden shades.

I used only 2 makeup tools for this look (I exclude the mascara as we all know is a must almost all the time ย to complete an eye makeup) .

IMG_3219

1. Eye shadow – L’Oreal Infallible Amber Rush which I applied on my eyelid with my finger as it makes the application smoother and easier and as well under my eye with a pencil brush.

2. Eyeliner – L’Oreal Silkissime , True Teal – I traced the eyelid , then I smooth it out with an eyeliner brush and I applied this eyeliner on my water line as well. ย This is a waterproof eyeliner and it stays all day.

2. Purple Fantasyย

I love how purple goes with green so I used this two together for a fresh summer make up.

In three steps you can get this really simple look.

1. Eye shadow- L’Oreal Infallible , Burst into Bloom. – Apply with finger or brush on the eye lid.

2. Contour the eye (bottom as well) with a green eyeliner , I used one from Essence- Kajal Pencil-Scream Green.

3. Apply a purple eyeliner in the waterline. I used L’Oreal Infallible , Silkissime – Pure Purple.

For both of the looks don’t forget about mascara and you are good to go! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Pearly pink make up

Hi everyone! I thought about making a make up with some soft pink . For me this is such a cute girlie color ย . In this make up I added some grey accents, as grey matches pink so well and gave it a stylish look using eyeliner .

Take a look at the picture below and follow the instructions to get this make up. ๐Ÿ™‚

Pearly pink

How to do it :

1. On the eyelid I applied a cute pink eye shadow from Loreal Infallible/ Pearly Pink.

2. I contoured the crease with a grey eye shadow. I used Gunmetal from the NAKED palette.

3. On the eye brow bone I applied an almost nude pink. I used Sin from the NAKED palette.

4. Create a cute wing using an eyeliner. I used Blackest Black from Loreal Infallible.

5. I contoured the lower line of the eye with the grey eye shadow and right above it I contoured with pearly pink for more light.

6. Apply any mascara you would like or False Eye Lashes. ๐Ÿ™‚

7. On the lips I used Super Stay 14h Lipstick from Maybelline /Perpetual Peony and for more volume and shine I applied some lip gloss on top- Milani-3D Glitzy , Glamour Gloss no.39.

Fun Make up 5

1. Before applying the make up I used a white concealer on my eyelid to intensify the colors. I have one from Flormar.ย FullSizeRender (97)

2. To create the red lines I used a small brush that I previously sprayed with some make up setting spray. It gave me more control to create the shapes. It had like an eyeliner effect.

3. I filled in the gaps between the red lines with a silvery white eyeliner but you can do it with some white eye shadow.ย FullSizeRender (96)

I used this eyeliner for the lower liner of the eye too for more light.

4. For the rest of the eye lid I chose a sparkly gold. It gives that party effect. I used the gel eye shadow from Elf. I really like it.ย IMG_0647

5. With a wet small brush dabbed in a green eye shadow I contoured the lower line of the eye.

My favorite lipstick colors for fall

This fall makes me think about darker lips. Intense colors will make your lips look fuller and more sensual and if you look on fashion and beauty sites and magazine dark lips are so in the trend right now. To give you some ideas I will post pictures with my favorite lipsticks.

1. Clinique – Black Honey it is more like a lip gloss but with a fuller texture. Let’s say a colored lip balm with the shine of a gloss that offers almost the same intensity as a lipstick does!

2. Clinique- Chubby Stick in Broadest Berry . This crayon shaped intense lip balm offers precision and intense color.
